Jebaited by art, panel discussions, jebaited… Artists involved in the BLEED program will be invited into a swirling livestream that fronts as a discussion about their work, but will dive into realms of the internet unknown.
Created and designed by Henry Lai-Pyne and Mat Spisbah, Jebaited is passage through the false negatives and true ambiguity of streaming identities. As content creation becomes the primary motivation for our creative labour, the stream will unpick these inclinations and the process of communication through platform governed media. Dissociative and distracted, the livestream will be hosted by avatar X…. Under the guise of an artist talk, avatar x will lead discussions that splinter off into online gaming, browser hopping and YouTube bingeing.
